In the fight against prejudice and bigotry in the world, it appears that the Obama administration is pitting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Rights "VS" Racism. And it appears that Gay Rights wins hands down. MSNBC reports The Obama administration will endorse a U.N. declaration calling for the worldwide decriminalization of homosexuality that then-President George W. Bush had refused to sign, The Associated Press has learned. U.S. officials said Tuesday they had notified the declaration's French sponsors that the administration wants to be added as a supporter. The Bush administration was criticized in December when it was the only western government that refused to sign on. Yet the Barack Obama administration, as reported by the The NY TImes, will not attend the second World Conference Against Racism in Geneva unless the conference’s main document improves, according to a State Department official. The NY TImes, reports the long, unwieldy document seeks to ban criticism of religion, calls for slave reparations and attacks Israel as racist. Israel and some American Jewish groups urged a boycott of the April conference, and several close American allies, including Canada, said they would not go. The United States walked out of the first Conference Against Racism, in Durban, South Africa, in 2001, as a protest against an effort to compare Zionism to racism. I guess the Obama administration will have to decide whether it's stands against color aroused bigotry and racism or will it stand with Israel, Canada and Italy who have announced they will boycott the forum in Geneva. Biographical Summary Matunda Nyanchama, Ph.D,CISSP is the past and founding president of the Kenyan Community Abroad, a post from which he retired in 2002. He was also a member of the interim committee that founded the Kenyan Community in Ontario, Canada. Matunda is also listed in the Who is Who in Black Canada, 2006 edition. He is an active member in the community and a speaker on technology, politics and development issues. Matunda works as the Principal Consultant at Agano Consulting Inc. where his key focus is in Information Technology, specifically in Information Security and Risk Management. His most recent position was Delivery Project Executive (DPE) at IBM Global Services (Canada) with responsibilities for service delivery for outsourced contracts. Previously he held positions as manager of security, privacy and identity consulting. Matunda has also worked as a Senior Manager of Information Security and Risk Management at Moneris Solutions, a payment solutions company based in Toronto, Canada. Prior to that he was a Senior Advisor for Information Security Analytics at the Bank of Montreal Financial Group, where he focused on information security risk analytics, business strategy and security awareness. As a senior manager of Information Security at the Bank of Montreal, he established and operated the Information Protection Centre (IPC), the first of its kind in the financial sector in Canada. Dr Nyanchama has held a number of professional security positions, including Senior Security Consultant at Ernst & Young and Director of Security Architecture, Intellitactics Inc., a Canadian security software company. Matunda holds masters and doctoral degrees in computer science from the University of Western Ontario in Canada, and an undergraduate electrical engineering degree from the University of Nairobi in Kenya. What Is HIV? To understand what HIV is, let’s break it down: H – Human – This particular virus can only infect human beings. I – Immunodeficiency – HIV weakens your immune system by destroying important cells that fight disease and infection. A "deficient" immune system can't protect you. V – Virus – A virus can only reproduce itself by taking over a cell in the body of its host. Human Immunodeficiency Virus is a lot like other viruses, including those that cause the "flu" or the common cold. But there is an important difference – over time, your immune system can clear most viruses out of your body. That isn't the case with HIV – the human immune system can't seem to get rid of it. Scientists are still trying to figure out why. We know that HIV can hide for long periods of time in the cells of your body and that it attacks a key part of your immune system – your T-cells or CD4 cells. Your body has to have these cells to fight infections and disease, but HIV invades them, uses them to reproduce itself, and then destroys them. Over time, HIV can destroy so many of your CD4 cells that your body can't fight infections and diseases anymore. When that happens, HIV infection can lead to AIDS. What Is AIDS? To understand what AIDS is, let’s break it down: A – Acquired – AIDS is not something you inherit from your parents. You acquire AIDS after birth. I – Immuno – Your body's immune system includes all the organs and cells that work to fight off infection or disease. D – Deficiency – You get AIDS when your immune system is "deficient," or isn't working the way it should. S – Syndrome – A syndrome is a collection of symptoms and signs of disease. AIDS is a syndrome, rather than a single disease, because it is a complex illness with a wide range of complications and symptoms.

I deleted the yesterdays episode on this cause I found it to be a bit sloppy and I got a bit mixed up on my facts at that moment. So I shall redo this episode and make it better. Many Jews [including many Rabbis] say that Gaza is not part of the land of Israel, since it was part of Philistina during the times of the Tenakh and since Gaza was not given to the 12 tribes of Israel. However, Gaza was part of Judah during the Hasmonean Dynasty. And Jerusalem was not given to the 12 tribes of Israel either, since David conquered it long after Joshua became a dead man. Some areas of pre-1967 Israel were just as much part of Philistina. Yet this argument has been used to justify Israel retreaitng from Gaza and the disengagement plan. A few Torah portion ago shows that Isaac settled in Grerar, which was part of Phlistina eve while the God of Israel commanded him to settle in the land of Israel. And God told Isaac in Grerar that he plans to give all these lands to Israel. So that crushes the argument that Gaza is not part of Israel since its part of Philistina into bite size pieces.
